  • store your images safely
  • use simple editing techniques to transform your images

You’ll get the opportunity to put into practice what you learn by taking a variety of photographs and reviewing them afterwards.

The workshop will be broken down as follows:

Morning Session
This is classroom based and once we have  been through the introductions we will explore the different camera settings that are available on your camera and what lies behind the Creative Auto functions.
We will discuss a number of techniques to enable you to compose images more effectively, and how each of the modes can be used more creatively.  This will involve practical sessions with the class.
We will also look at what other equipment you might need, like memory cards, card readers, storage and software etc.

After Lunch
We will venture outside for you to put into practice what you have learned.
About 1 hour will be allocated for you to wander around and take some images with a brief you have been given.
Back in the classroom we will look at some of the images you have taken and look at some simple editing techniques.
